Connection
The oven is normally connected to a cigarette lighter outlet, or to other outlets supporting the plug. The outlet must be fused with a 10A fuse. The male contact of the oven plug is of a combination type that can be used on most existing type of outlets. The plug has an internal, replaceable, 10A fuse behind the blue cap.
AutoMat, type 750, has a switch with a built-in control lamp which will light when the oven is turned on.
NOTE! Please make sure that the voltage from the outlet corresponds to the voltage that the oven is intended for (12V or 24V).
Usage
The time to heat the food varies depending on how much and what kind of food that is being heated. Normally,
30 - 60 minutes applies. When the engine is turned off, an oven containing a single food box should be used for a maximum time of 2 hours. An oven containing two food boxes should be used for a maximum time of 1 hour.
During the cold season of the year, it is also necessary to take into account the condition of the battery and the ambient temperature. After the above indicated periods of time, the engine should be started to ensure that the battery can be charged. Always place the food box in the oven BEFORE the oven is switched on, and always switch off the oven BEFORE removing the food box. This saves the battery and reduces the risk of forgetting to shut off the oven.
The food box and oven must be cleaned after use, and when necessary.
Fixed mounting (applies only to AutoMat, type 750)
If the oven is to be mounted fixed, the included M5-screws should be used. The distances between the oven feet are: 115 mm in length and 70 mm in width.
The limited space in cars often makes the luggage compartment the best place for a heating oven, whether it is being fixed or not.
WARNING!
- During use the heater becomes hot. Avoid touching the inside of the heater.
- The food box and its contents can become very hot. Be careful when removing the food box from the heater, and also when removing the lid on the food box.
- The oven must not be used without a food box with food in the food compartment. Otherwise, there is a risk of damages.
- Keep the food box heater out of reach of children.
- Persons without experience and knowledge, or with limited mental or sensory ability, should not use the food box heater on their own
